Current MOE teacher at Edgefield Primary school, with more than 14 years of teaching experience. I specialize in upper primary Math and Science and am a PSLE marker. I am familiar with the PSLE syllabus and have conducted PSLE marking and assessment over the years. I am well-versed with the curriculum, versatile in all levels and have coached mainly upper primary classes. The students I have tutored are mainly struggling to pass their exams and have lost interest in the subject. To help these students, we will go through the basics and when solving questions, I will explain each step when necessary.

A patient and methodical mentor, to me, understanding students' weaknesses and then applying the right teaching methods are my key strengths that have served me well. Previous and current students have produced excellent results consistently. I aim to help students find the joy of learning. They will aspire to give their best and excel academically. I can provide in-depth examination revision tips and methods because I believe that content mastery and exam strategies go hand-in-hand. I also utilise mind-maps to explain and classify things for easier memorization; identifying and correcting students' misconceptions and assumptions, understanding what students are confused about, helping them to see where they have gone wrong and in what circumstances will their wrong answers be correct.
