Teaching experience includes private 1-to-1, small groups at enrichment centres & also taught for a short while in government schools. Able to teach in an engaging way which enable students to learn Chinese in an interactive and engaging manner. I take effort to make sure that my students' needs are met. I take a friendly approach on grounds of mutual understanding, generally involving parents in their children's learning process, so that students do not feel neglected or forced to study. I have also taken students from non-chinese speaking backgrounds and have helped them score well in their exams and get more comfortable with using mandarin in their day-to-day interactions. So far, all of my students have shown improvements after lessons - e.g. express stream (G3) S2 student that jumped from F9 in WA1 to A2 in EOY. Parents/Students can update me what they’ll like to do, if not lessons will be planned by me, and parents would be constantly kept updated of child’s progress! Personalised notes will be provided whenever needed to fit learning needs of the students.
