I am a hardworking, dedicated and compassionate educator with over 3 years of experience working with young children, including those with special needs. I used to be a medical doctor who have dealed with special needs children with learning differences, including autism, and ADHD. By combining my understanding of child development with a focus on personalized education, I want all the children to receive the support they need to be able to thrive socially and academically. Besides that i am multilingual in Chinese, Malay, English and Math for primary school children. I like to introduce children to the nature via engaging activities to stimulate critical thinking. I understand that children with learning differences or special needs require tailored instruction customized to each individual, and i will adapt the teaching techniques to meet the individual needs of my students. My approach is based on patience and empathy, to create an environment that encourage my students to be determine to succeed. I also teach holistically, focusing not just on academic success but importantly on social and emotional development. My teaching style also ensures that every child feels confident, strive to learn and safe.
