Hello, my name is Alicia and I am a Polytechnic Undergraduate student. My journey into coaching began with my desire to impart the knowledge and skills I have gained with passionate students who are eager to learn. I believe in not just helping students achieve academic success, but also in fostering a love for learning itself. I am patient, attentive and resourceful, always striving to create an engaging environment where students can perform well. For me, coaching is not just about teaching, it is about helping students to realise that learning can be fun and helping them unlock their full potential! In addition to academic coaching, I have prior experience in teaching piano. I believe in the importance of holistic development, where learning extends beyond academics. As a piano teacher, I encourage my students to develop creativity and perseverance which will benefit them in both their studies and in life.

As a member of my school’s mentoring club, I have had the privilege of coaching students from Serangoon Garden Secondary School for 2 years. I guided these students in subjects such as Math and Science (Biology), helping them improve and reach their academic goals. Additionally, I have tutored students with Primary Level Chinese, Science and Math. I also used to teach them Piano, where I not only share technical skills, but also encourage them to find joy in the music they play.
